My vision for social change is that, through representation, accessibility, and education in theatre, folks from diverse communities and cultural backgrounds will participate in the act of telling and/or preserving stories that embody their lived experiences.
Speaker
Over the years, I been invited to share my lived experience as multi-hypenated human on panels, workshops, public spaces and beyond! I've spoken and performed at various universities including Temple, Villanova, Drexel, Penn, Rutgers, Penn State, La Salle and more.
I am a proud recipient of the Phenomenal Women Award (2020), Leeway Art and Change Grant (2016, 2019), Knight Foundation’s Emerging City Champions Fellowship (2018), GALAEI David Acosta Revolutionary Leadership Award (2017), and was a keynote speaker alongside Quiara Alegría Hudes at the 2018 Association for Theatre in Higher Education Conference: Theatres of Revolution: Performance, Pedagogy, and Protest, in addition, to the plenary speaker for the 2019 Theatre Communications Group National Conference.

Theatre Educator
Within my teaching artist practice, I have supported youth and adults in artistically expressing their authentic selves, building trust between students, and providing a platform for their artwork to be seen.
